Healthy maple and pecan granola

Healthy maple and pecan granola is a breakfast you will want to wake up for!  It is crunchy and sweet and also healthy because as with all of my recipes it is sugar free too.

  • Make a paste with the honey, date syrup, peanut butter and a dash of maple syrup.
  • Add the gluten free oats and mix well, scraping the spoon as you go.  You will feel like there are too many oats for the amount of paste, but this is what you want, just keep mixing until everything is combined and the oats are all covered with the paste.
  • Add the chopped pecans and mix well.
  • Add the maple syrup and mix well.
  • Spread out evenly on a baking tray.
  • Bake on gas mark 5 for 20 minutes, mixing and turning over once. Bake until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on the tray then transfer to an airtight jar or tub to keep it fresh.
  • Enjoy and get creative with how you use it!
